The Florida Responsible Vendor Alcohol Server Training Course is a 2-hour course designed to be taken by individuals in the state of Florida working either part-time or full-time on a temporary or permanent basis within a licensed establishment and involved in direct service or sales of alcoholic beverages. Per Florida law, anyone employed to serve alcoholic beverages must complete a training course such as this one within 30 days after commencing employment.
This course meets the training requirements set forth by the state of Florida Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco in their Responsible Vendor program.
The objectives of this course are to familiarize the learner with:
-Alcohol beverage service and establishment operation laws in the state of Florida
-Effects of alcoholic beverages on the body, individual behavior and motor vehicles operation
-Methods for recognizing and dealing with underage customers
-Effects of alcohol in combination with the use of controlled substances
-Effects of controlled substances on the body, behavior and motor vehicles operation
-Methods for dealing with customers and employees who use or traffic in controlled substances
By completing/passing this course, you will attain the certificate "FL Responsible Vendor Alcohol Server Course"
